Have you seen this movie entitled "Cavite"? I never heard of it nor watched it. I just found it out while I am surfing and browsing the web for something that relates to Cavite. And I am surprised that, there is a film titled Cavite and it really caught my attention.
I read many movie reviews of this film. I do found out that the movie "CAVITE" is a tale of terrorist groups and a Fil-Am named Adam. It was an independent film written and directed by two Filipino Americans named Neil Gamazon and Ian Dela Llana (2005).
It looks like that the film is inspired by the movie Phone Booth starring Collin Farrel. The movie played all along with that cellphone. The callers (kidnappers) usually contact Mr. Adam on how he can save his familie's life, and if he fails to follow their directions or orders, his family will be beheaded.
But I am just a bit curios on why does this film titled "Cavite"? The terrorist group who kidnapped Adam's family is Abu Sayaff, which are hiding and spreading their kidnappings and terrorist act in Mindanao. Also, I do think, that this is not filmed here at Cavite.
