Focus on the Family, a Christian organization is the group behind the said ad. The advertisement will focus on the story behind Tim Tebow’s birth. It was said that Tebow's mother refused to have an abortion after being advised by doctors to do so while she was pregnant with Tim. So it just shows that despite medical risks, Tim Tebow's mother still wanna give birth to his son.

But according to some people, Super Bowl is not the right place to this kind of advertisement or debate. Being the most awaited and most watch event of the year, some people may think that this commercial ad of Tim Tebow will be inappropriate for public viewing.

City High is hot again on the interwebs. City High was an American R&B/hip hop trio consisting of rappers/singers Ryan Toby, Robbie Pardlo and Claudette Ortiz. They popularized and created the song called What Would You Do.

City High disbanded in 2003 due to some turn of events. Robby Pardlo was in a relationship with band member Claudette Ortiz and she broke up with him. After few months, she married the other City High group member Ryan Toby, in which, I believe, is one of the reason why the group disbanded.

And don't be confused about this, because this recall is separate from the on-going recall of approximately 4.2 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles to reduce the risk of pedal entrapment by incorrect or out of place accessory floor mats.

This is my own opinion and my own thoughts regarding the recent happenings at Big Brother house. No harm is intended upon writing this blog post of mine.

Resback Attack – Princess Lieza Manzon

When Princess and Rob enter the house, Princess immediately catches my attention. Her acts and her body language really annoy me. By the time she reached the pool area, where the 8 remaining housemates stays and where the domino tower is built, the tension goes up.

Princess immediately confronted the remaining housemates one by one. And the way she do it, it was really out of bounds. I know that Kuya (Big Brother) told them to have or show no mercy and it was just a part of the game. But based on what I saw, she over do it and really over reacted or become out of bounds on that situation.

My Own Choice Of Big Winner

Oh no, don’t think I will go for MelaSon tandem. First of all, they don’t deserve it! Why? They really don’t do anything on the big brother house. All they know is this “tweetums acts” that, for me, is really annoying.

Jason is smart! But he’s a big liar and a big fake. He is faking his own feelings toward Melissa. He is just taking advantage (the reason why I can tell that he is smart) of the current status of Melai and her fans or followers.

I watched the night wherein, the housemates got drunk. You know where and who is Jason taking care of and sleep with that night? He’s with Meriel. Jason and Meriel slept together while holding hands. And Melai don’t have any clue about it.

Also, the MelaSon tandem is playing safe. When Princess enters the pool area to destroy the domino tower, Jason and Melai have no reaction. I mean, what did they do to stop Princess? Nothing. They just watched and playing safe.

So, my choice, my Big 4 will be; Paul Jake, Meriel, Tibo And Cath or Johan.

Paul Jake deserves to be the big winner. He really shows who he is. He is a competitor, in heart and in mind. He really do his best on every task and game that big brother told them to do.

So that’s it, in summary, Princess doesn’t deserve the limelight, MelaSon don’t deserve to be on the big 4 (c’mon they really don’t deserve it!). And I really want either Paul Jake or Meriel to win this competition.

I think this movie will be a big hit, on theaters and on dvd sales of course. As what I can observe, this movie is well budgeted and the characters are pretty impressive too.

The Legion 2010 movie seems a good watch for me. Love the action I saw on the trailer alone. Feels like, it will be an action pack, scifi twist and thriller giving kind of film for me.

The Hub’s ultra-liberal broadsheet today “inadvertently” posted an interactive election-results dummy on its website, boston.com — which, amazingly, forecast a Coakley victory.

Queried by the Boston Phoenix, the city’s alternative newspaper, a spokesman for the Globe replied:

AP was testing an election data feed to its Massachusetts clients. During corresponding tests at our end, the feed of AP’s hypothetical test data was inadvertently posted for a few minutes on a single subsection page within our site. As soon as the error was discovered, it was removed. We regret the mishap.

The NFL's Punt, Pass & Kick program gives opportunity to every kid; both boys and girls to make the world know about their hidden talents and capabilities.

NFL PUNT, PASS & KICK (PPK) program is a national sports or skills competition for kids from 8-15 years of age. Boys and Girls are separated according to their peers.

The PPK program do have four separate age divisions (boys and girls; 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15). They will compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and exciting forum.

Winners in each age group are determined by the total distance of their punts, passes, and kicks, as the name implies. The national finals competition involves one contestant from each age group sponsored by each of the NFL's 32 teams.

Alcoa reversed a loss from a year earlier, but still reported earnings that fell well short of Wall Street's estimates.

The aluminum giant said after markets closed Monday that it earned 1 cent a share excluding one-time items in the fourth quarter, compared with a loss of 28 cents a share in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Sales for the most recent quarter hit $5.43 billion, down from $5.688 billion last year.

Analysts who follow Alcoa expected it to report a profit of 6 cents a share on revenue of $4.817 billion, according to a consensus estimate compiled by Thomson Reuters.

The firm said its analysis showed Chevron has "the greatest valuation sensitivity to a change in oil prices" compared with peers.

We just got to hold the new crazy-thin QUE proReader, and it's pretty much all that and a bag of chips. The touchscreen seems resistive, but it's plenty sensitive, and the 1 second-ish page refresh rate makes it pretty usable. They weren't lying about the device feeling and looking like plastic, but we really do mean that in the nicest way possible. There's USB and a power button on the bottom, but looking at it straight on the device is about as minimal as could be. We'll have to really play with one before we can comment on usability, but from first glance the interface looks intuitive, well laid-out and surprisingly packed with functionality.

With all the buzz around social networking sites and all over the world wide web in particular regarding the Google Phone Nexus One , I searched and gather every possible information I can get for me to read and of course, for me to blog about.

The Nexus One. In the modern climate of hyped (and over-hyped) smartphone launches, Google's official entry into the phone-sales game has excelled in a department where many find difficulty: generating legitimate excitement.

The device, a Snapdragon-powered, HTC-built phone looks -- on paper, at least -- like the ultimate Android handset, combining a newly tweaked and tightened user interface with killer industrial design. A sleek, streamlined phone that can easily go toe-to-toe with the iPhone 3GSs, Pres, and Droids of the world, powered by the latest version of Android (2.1 "Flan," if you're counting), and hand-retooled by Google.

Industry politics aside, though, the Nexus One is at its core just another Android smartphone. It's a particularly good one, don't get us wrong -- certainly up there with the best of its breed -- but it's not in any way the Earth-shattering, paradigm-skewing device the media and community cheerleaders have built it up to be. It's a good Android phone, but not the last word -- in fact, if we had to choose between this phone or the Droid right now, we would lean towards the latter. Of course, if Google's goal is to spread Android more wide than deep, maybe this is precisely the right phone at the right time: class-leading processor, vibrant display, sexy shell, and just a sprinkling of geekiness that only Google could pull off this effortlessly.

Google Nexus One: The TechCrunch Review

The phone looks more like the iPhone than any other phone on the market. There is no physical keyboard like the Android-powered Motorola Droid, and the tradeoff is a much slimmer design. The phone is 11.5 mm deep, slightly thinner than the iPhone 3GS at 12.3 mm. It is also slightly lighter than the iPhone 130 grams v. 135 grams). The package comes with the phone, a removable battery, 4 GB Micro SD storage card (expandable to 32 GB), USB charger and microphone headset.

The Nexus one has four functional touch buttons at the bottom of the screen (back, menu, home, search) and a navigation trackball pointing device. It also has physical power and volume controls. But most of your interaction with the phone will be through the gorgeous 3.7 inch 480 x 800 OLED capacitive touchscreen. This is the best mobile phone display on the market today, blowing away the iPhone’s 480 x 320 display. The screen is bright and alive, and an absolute pleasure to use.

This phone is also powered by the Snapdragon 1 GHz core processor, which is more than able to handle the Nexus One’s 3D graphics, multiple applications running in the background and heavy browser use simultaneously. Unlike previous Android phones, there is no slowdown or lag when you push the phone’s performance, and less of a need to kill applications to keep the device humming.

Google's Nexus One: First Impressions

On Tuesday, Google finally announced the Googlephone, in the form of the Nexus One-if you define "Googlephone" as a phone with Google software and Google branding, sold by Google on a Google site. And...there's nothing radical about it. Judging from the first few hours I've spent playing with one, it's a good phone-a really good phone. The best Android phone so far, and (along with Palm's Pre) one of the few phones worthy of being discussed in the same breath as Apple's iPhone.

But everything that's better about it is evolutionary, not revolutionary. It's a little bit better than Verizon's Droid, which was a little bit better than HTC's Hero, which was a little bit better than the MyTouch. And considering that Verizon's Droid spent just two months as the undisputed Android-phone-to-buy, it wouldn't be the least bit surprising if the Nexus One was ousted by another little-bit-better phone by Spring. There's also not nothing particularly remarkable about the way Google is selling the phone, although the company says to stay tuned for more phones with more hardware and carrier partners-including a Verizon Nexus One this Spring.

Bottom line: If Android-based phones are going to catch up with the iPhone-and they might-they're going to do so in a series of baby steps, not through the Great Leap Forward that some folks expected this phone to be.

Nexus One Review

The Nexus One is a very slick and beautiful phone that almost makes other devices look out dated. Rather than going the direction of the Motorola Droid with it’s hard edged corners, it took on the characteristics of the iPhone head-on by creating a more curvy device. Where the iPhone flattens out on the top and bottom, the Nexus One takes on subtle curves that make the phone feel less boxy. The face of the phone even curves down slightly at the very bottom. There are four buttons and a trackball at the bottom of the phone which are very similar to the Droid, you know the regular features: Back, Menu, Home, and Search. Below is HTC’s all so familiar tracking ball. Rather than adjusting the earpiece down a bit, you’ll see that they decided to place it almost at the very top of the phone. Another very noticeable feature is the amount of space the screen takes up. It’s HUGE! A whopping 3.7” to be exact.
