The body of missing Memphis basketball star Lorenzen Wright, a former Hawk, was found in a wooded area in the city’s southeast side, the Commercial Appeal is reporting.

The information about Wright's death is coming from an unnamed law enforcement source, the newspaper said. The Memphis Police Department won't officially comment, the Commercial Appeal said.

Wright, 34, who had been missing since July 19, recently flew from Atlanta to Memphis to visit friends and his six children, friends said.

He was scheduled to drive back to the Atlanta area July 19, with his six children and a friend, the Commercial-Appeal said.

He was last seen at about 2 a.m. July 19, leaving his ex-wife’s Whisperwood Drive home, the newspaper said.

As of this writing, Philippine Coast Guard, along with local authorities are still on their move to prevent the oil spill from spreading. The said underwater pipeline is owned by Petron Corporation. Mayor Nonong Ricafrente already suspended the company's license to operate until they resolve their own mess.

Petron Corporation personnel's said that the said leakage started when Typhoon Basyang landed the area. The said company already placed numerous oil spill boom and oil dispersal at the affected area to prevent it from spreading.

I think , the community, local authorities and concerned citizens as well should really focus their eyes and attention at this oil spill. Once and for all, this oil spill must stop!. We don't want this to become the Asian version of BP Oil spill.
