Ok, so Scotty McCreery won this season 10 of American Idol against the young and talented Lauren Alaina. Many are shocked and of course, in huge disbelief and largely disagreeing with the results, but then again, America loves Scotty and the results proved it.
Meanwhile, tweets are roaming around that Scotty indeed kissed Lauren in the lips, accidentally or not? Some think its sweet, some thinks its fake.

I actually had the impression she kissed him.... She has been all eyes for him for weeks now... and he made the statement that "they've been together since day one and they will continue together". Not sure exactly what it meant ;) but I think it is cute... c'mon... teenage crushes are cute and memorable!
I'm pretty sure he meant to kiss her on the cheek but it looked like it was on the lips. It was hard to tell because of all the stuff that was going on at once.

im positive they kissed and it was real. if u look at the big screen behind his parents when they were showing their reaction u can see they are still kissing. not to mention when he went back on stage and huged her again he said "love you baby" i cant wait to see if they date!!!!

I dont know if my opinion means amything at all, but if somehow scotty or lauren reads this post, i want you to know that you two are absolutely perfect together. Lauren, scotty is an awesome guy and a great singer and a christian and a country lover and not to mention cute! Scotty, lauren is a a beautiful christian girl who is a great singer and (in my opinion) likes you a lot and all she wants is to be with you. Tonight on the finale you two looked so cute together! All of america thinks you two should date, but nobody thinks this more than i do. Date each other, get married, and have little baby McCreerys that have golden voices!!!
in my opinion, the kiss was real, but you never know, it was on TV, they like to make things seem more than what they are sometime. but hey you never know, on that note i'm #teamScotty&Lauren, they definitly need to get together, if Scotty was smart he'd already be with her <3
I hope they both give it a serious try. When they sang their duets together, they were great!. If they have become sweethearts, then that's awesome also. Disregard the fame and titles, embrace each other for what you both are, at the human level. They would make a wonderful couple who could inspire ordinary Americans to invest all they can give to their personal relationships! Something missing from America at this horrible moment in history....

That is ok. They are in the budding age of their lives. They can kiss, so far as they do not indulge in sex and demoralize their self respect. They seem to be well brought up kids. I like them both and they are in the right place in history and also may be in their lives as well.

THEN when he was hugging everyone he hugged her (he hugged her the longest), she kissed him on the cheek, he said, "I love you baby" she said "i'm [so] proud of you" and then after the end credits when they zoomed in again lauren had grabbed his face & kissed him on the cheek 7 times. they are the cutest ever...i hope they don't have the jemi fate....

I had mentioned sometime back that Scotty and Lauren would make a nice couple, I am so happy Scotty won- he is a natural, genuine, humble and a great voice!!!! Okay, so I know I am a little lste jumping in here, but I believe he meant every word they said to each other last night and if they have found each other and make each other happy and support each other's dreams together, than god bless them and I hope they don't let the world around them mess up what they have found together.

I just re-watched the finale and he absolutely 100% for sure said, "Love you, babe." I think it's obvious they care deeply for each other. If they're this close after spending so much time together day-in-and-day-out for one year that's a testimony they pretty much so like or love each other. Kudos to the relationship whether it's boyfriend/girlfriend or not. Loved them both.

Who ever kissed who, fake or not, as a fan, I think we all have an idea where the kiss may lead them. No one really knows what kind of relationship they share with each other or what ever is the status of their relationship that is if they are already a couple, but I think they look great together.
I've loved both Scotty and Lauren since they both tried out and wanted them to get together. But to me it looked like Lauren was more interested in Scotty than Scotty was in her. Sorry but I think they're just friends for now. I'll rewatch it but I sure didn't see him tell her he loves her.
