Stylistically the movie is a parody of rock documentaries, purportedly filmed and directed by the fictional Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner). The faux documentary covers a 1982 United States concert tour for the fictional British rock group "Spinal Tap" to promote their new album Smell the Glove, but interspersed with one-on-one interviews with the members of the group and footage of the group from previous points in their career.

The band was started by childhood friends David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean) and Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) during the 1960s. Originally called "The Originals", then "The New Originals" to distinguish themselves from the existing group of the same name, they settled on the name "The Thamesmen", finding success with their skiffle/RandB single, "Gimme Some Money". They changed their name again to "Spinal Tap" and enjoyed limited success with the flower power anthem, "Listen to the Flower People".

Ryan Dunn Is Dead. This is the headline that shocked many people around the globe. According to the news, the well known "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn dies in a shocking car accident. He along with a passenger are both declared dead when their vehicle, Porsche, slammed into a tree in and burst into flames at the Chester County.

Ryan Dunn or Ryan Matthew Dunn (June 11, 1977 – June 20, 2011) was an American reality television personality and daredevil best known for being a member of The Jackass Crew as well as a cast member on Viva La Bam. He is 34 years old when the deadly accident happened.

I woke up to this event, aptly described in an email from a colleague - "Never seen anything like this before - spectacular". It really is just amazing! Here are videos of a prominence eruption from 304, 171 and 211 Angstrom channel cameras on SDO. Also included is a video from the LASCO C2 coronagraph aboard the SOHO spacecraft. This event produced M2.5 x-ray solar flare and a moderate proton storm. There are no major concerns for space weather.
